The lift was really too small to accommodate the wheelchair, it took 10 minutes to get it to work. There was no access to a 'disabled toilet' on the spa level and this was a problem (especially as the lift was not easily accessible).
The changing area was very small and cramped and the floor was extremely slippery whilst wearing the mules provided by hotel.A lot of the lockers were missing keys, so not really usable.
The pool etc was very enjoyable. The lunch was booked for 1pm, it arrived 1.30,
Absolutely superb, massage was great, included face and head massage, felt so relaxed afterwards. I had broken my wrist the week before and I definitely needed a massage. She Listened to my concerns and she certainly delivered.
I have had several spa days over the last couple of years but the standard has really dropped this year. I used to feel pampered and relaxed and thoroughly spoilt but now it just feels like the therapists are going through a routine , they hardly speak to you.
The robes are hard and rough and have obviously shrunk as the sleeves end just below the elbows , mine would not do up , I am a size 14 but not huge ,and the fact I couldnt do it up made me feel really embarrassed.
It is such a shame .
