I had such a lovely pedicure here yesterday, the gentleman who did my feet was great!
The only thing is ... they don’t take cash, which did surprise me in current climate. I had to go to the cash machine and they trusted me but I was so anxious as then the cash machine wasn’t working and I was worried they might think I wasn’t coming back! Also, not a biggie but the treatment is £3 more if you pay at the salon than if you were to pay in advance ... but to be honest they should have charged me an extra 20% for my post lockdown feet!
I really like the team here, they are great at what they do .. just remember to bring cash :))
Ok...
This is the first time I’ve been to this salon and I don’t think I’ll be returning.
My hairdresser was nice however I did feel like a naughty school kid when I went in. I booked a blow dry for my date night. Yes my hair needs a cut after the COVID pandemic but do I need to be repeatedly told this on numerous occasions?... no. I basically got a lecture from the hairdresser.
Barring that the female hairdresser was nice enough and the cleanliness of the salon was good.
The actual blow dry I wasn’t that impressed with. The young junior that washed my hair was brilliant and did a great head massage. But the actual blow dry wasn’t all that. My hair was rough dried to the point of complete dryness without a brush. This is what I do at home and when I pay for a blow dry I expect big roll brushes to be used and then heated tongs to hold the curls. My hair just seemed limp at the top and extremely curly at the bottom.
As I said I don’t think I’ll be returning.
