Definitely the fastest wax I've had. All things considered, it was reasonably pain free

Very convenient location, perfect to nip to in your work lunch break. Therapist was running a bit behind but she performed the wax so quickly it only took about 15 mins!! I would definitely go back.
Had my first Hollywood wax today.. Safe to say I was absolutely petrified. Not only about the pain, but getting half naked in front of a complete stranger. When I arrived at Bloomsbury Beauty, it was calm and relaxed. I was greeted with a smile and felt at ease instantly! After giving my details, I was asked to go downstairs and entered a little room which smelt lovely and had calming music on, the lighting wasn't too bright either! Not sure how much that helped anything but it all added to the calm feel! Anyway, the time came to get half naked and I wasn't even embarrassed anymore as I could tell that the lady giving me the treatment wasn't bothered at all! The treatment didn't feel amazing, obviously a bit stingy at the front but you do get used to it and it really is bearable, I promise! It was over before I knew it and I felt daft for ever being so worried! Before I went to treatment I tried the 'Relax and Wax- No Scream Cream', this is a numbing cream that you apply 45 mins before waxing (I'm such a wuss!) so maybe that took the edge off it a bit, I haven't got any past experiences to compare it too! But overall it was a pleasant experience and not too expensive at all, considering what she's doing hehe! Now I can just be excited for my holidays! Happy Waxing Ladies!
I heard of this salon from my girlfriends. I was intrigued as soon as me and my friend walked in, the therapist worked hard and did a great job.
I originally booked an appointment for the next day and had no problems as she decided to work over just to accommodate me, she was very friendly. I was given advice before she started on my waxing but I did like the way she talked through what I wanted. She was really lovely and did exactly what I needed. She listened to what I wanted and made suggestions when I asked for advice. I felt really at ease and that was before she started.
By the time I was having my waxing done I was really relaxed and properly enjoying the pampering. I had a fun conversation with the therapist too!
I bounced out of there, all cheery – The therapist was friendly, the service and value exceeded my expectations and I will definitely be going back again soon. Highly recommended!
