Received a voucher for two areas of waxing for £18, although the woman who did the waxing and the rest of the staff were nice enough & friendly, she didn't do a thorough job and it felt more like a friend giving it a go at home rather than someone who had been professionally trained. Not sure i'll go back for my second area of waxing which I have remaining.
As always it was a good value for money however the place itself wasn't great. The treatment room was tiny. However the therapist was nice and did a good job.
I had the Dermalogica facial here. Was a bt apprehensive having read some neg reviews, but just to update people (a) they defo used Dermalogica products and (b) there is a proper door on the treatment room, so it's totally private. Yes, it's a bit small, and also the bathroom wasn't amazing (wet floor, no hand towels), but overall is was fine. The therapist I had was lovely. She talked me through the procedure and made me feel very relaxed. I wouldn't have a problem with going back there again. Oh - one negative thing for me - I had bought vouchers for a friend and myself so we could go together for her birthday, but they only have one treatment room, so it's only one person at a time!
There were renovations going on at the salon but the staff were very welcoming, and the therapist was lovely and very considerate, but unfortunately the brazilian wax wasn't really a brazilian- even after i asked her to take more off after the first go it still wasn't quite all gone!
after full leg and arm wax, still had stray hairs. no pressure applied when applying the strip over the wax, just pulled hence why i wasnt happy, as the voucher offered 2 tments i had my arms done at same time to save me coming bac at this salon and i really didnt want to come here again. its a small back street salon, staff are friendly, but no ambiance and quite noisy so i would not have any massage as not relaxing enough for me.
