The facial was great value, the staff friendly and professional and the salon clean and convenient. The treatment room was quite small and poky however was fine for the value of the deal.
The staff here are so friendly and it really is good value for money. Downside is that the treatment room is very small and therefore feels a little claustrophobic and not very luxurious. Well worth a visit - therapist is lovely and the facial was very thorough.
This was the WORST massage I had. The experience was nothing like the Swedish Massage described on Wahanda site. It was just being very gently rubbed with a lot of oil from neck to toe, and did not in the least bit feel like a massage (if you can even call it that!). I would not recommend or go again, waste of time and money.
The trio of treatments were fantastic, the Swedish massage in particular was amazing. I really enjoyed the facial too, the steam treatment felt great. Kareema was really lovely and created a very relaxed environment.
Like the majority of us; I only write reviews either when I've had an extremely good or extremely bad experience. Unfortunate for Blooms, this was one of my worst experience ever! Had bought a deal through Groupon for facial and a choice of massage (hot stone therapy, a deep tissue massage or a Swedish massage). At the time of booking, I was wasn't asked which massage I would like to have. I did feel odd but I assumed they wouldn't need to know as they would have allocated sufficient time knowing my voucher details. The fine print clearly states a 30min facial plus 50min deep tissue/Swedish massage and 30min hot stone massage. The WHOLE of my appointment only took 65 mins!!! When I first walked in, the receptionist offered to take my coat but no drink offered. I wasn't expecting champagne or glass of expensive wine - just a glass of water would have been courteous enough! Offering a drink is standard in most places and would have been a warm welcome! The therapist was Hungarian and was struggling to speak English. Don't get me wrong - she was as polite as she could be but couldn't speak even the basics. Seems to me that she wasn't experience much and hadn't been in the country for too long! She couldn't give me any advise on how to look after my skin or anything of that sort! For the facial, she cleaned my skin with a wet towel and few creams...then applied mask waited for few mins...steamed my face...popped a few pimples...applied mask again...waited for few mins and it was DONE! For the massage, even she didn't ask me which one I wanted to go for or how much pressure I was comfortable with! Just carried on with it! To my surprise the massage lasted no longer than 15 mins and only covered my shoulders and upper back...! When I finished, if I wanted, I could have queried or complained about the timing of massage etc. But it wasn't like I was enjoying the massage. At this point, I was thoroughly disappointed and couldn't be asked to...even if they offered me a longer or free massage I would have said 'No, but no thanks'!!!!!! The therapy room was very tiny, almost like a store room! But it didn't bother me...what actually bothered me was the thin wall between the therapy room and the salon. I could hear clear conversations (between hairdressers & clients) through the wall!! Massage and facial is meant to be a relaxing and rejuvenating time. But as much I tried hard to relax I was constantly disturbed by the loud conversations through the wall!! I almost gave this voucher to my friend as Xmas present. Thank God I didn't otherwise it would have been an embarrassing one for me! What a waste of my time and money! I will never recommend Blooms to anyone!
