The salon doesn't look that impressive from the outside, but from the second I walked in I was made to feel welcome and the staff couldn't have been friendlier.
I had a consultation before my haircut and the stylist listened to what I said and gave some great suggestions. The cut was great, and several people commented on how nice it looked. I would definitely go here again.
I only paid £20 for my wash, cut and blow dry, overall I was very happy with what I received and thought it was great value for money. The salon was clean and tidy but a bit dated, this may have bothered some but not me.
I am trying to grow my hair at the moment so only had a trim, if I wanted my hair styling I probably would have gone to someone who I knew I could trust.
If I had paid full price for a cut at this salon I probably would have been annoyed.
The staff here are really polite and kind. It's more of a hairdressers with beauty treatments available (the room used is quite small), but this didn't bother me at all as the massage was really very good. I've been to luxury spas where the massages are below par although the ambience is really nice - this place is the opposite of that, which suits me perfectly. I suppose it depends on what you are after. It's good value. I would recommend this to friends.
I was pleasantly surprised with the whole experience. I received a speedy reply back to my appointment request and was able to have a date and time that was convenient for me. The salon is small and intimate but clean and the staff were polite and friendly. I was very happy with the colour and cut I received and would book again. One thing which I did think was a bit odd was that there was a shortage of chairs so whilst I was waiting for my colour to set I was moved out of the chair and had to wait on the chairs in reception whilst the therapist cut someone elses hair. Apart from that it was most definitely an enjoyable visit and very good value for money.
Good cut and good value for money. Very speedy service. However it was further out than I thought, more Old Street, rather than Barbican. The hairdresser was good and very pleasant.
