Although the salon is quite cramped, I have never been so happy with my colour. Andrea doesn't speak perfect English but he's an amazing hairdresser and that's the main thing. He explained what he was going to do and did exactly that. Although I did pay extra on top of the voucher cost to get tint. But the tint did improve the colour so I didn't mind too much, and I could have said no to it. Small complaint that they ran out of hot water so my colour was washed out with cold water, but it was busy that day so that was probably why. But overall I felt that all the staff wanted to look after me, constantly being given cups of tea was a highlight! I wouldn't hesitate to go back.
I was really happy with my visit to Blooms. Its a cosy, cute and well presented salon in a good location between Barbican and Angel. Kristine did my consultation and I was pleased although I was told I would see a different stylist at the time of booking my appointment. Kristine is knowledgable and experienced and I was happy with the consultation with her, the cut, highlights and blowdry. I only wish she had convinced me to go a bit lighter on the highlights. The blow dry was superb. The salon staff seemed less experienced but were polite and sweet. I would definitely go back!
Small place but nice and welcoming. Andrea listened carefully to what I wanted and then gave me a great haircut, very happy with it. It was very quick but he did a good job, and gave me some tips on quick styling to keep it looking good. Will be going back.
Overall I was very happy upon leaving. Although the venue it self is not the most beautiful (hence the reason as to why I had dubth) the actual service I received was perfect. The hairdreser took his time to listen to what I wanted. I will definitely go again.
Although my hairdresser's English was not as good as it should, we understood each other and I am very satisfied with my cut. I think it is definitely value for money and this guy seemed very experienced and confident in consulting me and giving me a new look (i.e. a pronounced fringe). The salon itself is very small and not that cosy, but I would definitely suggest going there and booking with Andrea.
