Friendly staff, high quality treatment and I felt very well looked after. I would definitely recommend Blooms and would return there for the same treatment. My appointment was during my lunch hour so I was slightly concerned about timings but my stylist kept to time perfectly.
Loved the service at the salon. Such a great price and lovely service. It's not a bells and whistles place, however, very comfortable and relaxed and the do a great job! I'll be going back :)
Blooms is a hidden gem tucked away in the back streets of Clerkenwell. The salon is small, but perfectly formed and inside has modern and clean facilities. My stylist was very friendly, and experienced. My highlights turned out perfect - she matched my previous colours to the tee from just looking at my hair. Despite being a voucher customer, I in no way, at any point, felt rushed or like an in-valued customer. This is a super value for money deal ( I wasn't charged for having long, thick hair or for having more than one colour). I definitely will be returning (with my voucher for 40% off next time!)
Very nice people who kept me nicely supplied with beverages. I was disappointed with my previous experience at another hairdresser so I knew this would be a "make good" session. Kristine is lovely and talked me through all the various options, my main issue was to get the colour right and a nice cut to go with it. She suggested something different which was that I didn't need a whole head of highlights but to go for a tint at the base and half head on top which sounded great. All went well until I was at the basin where I was given a treatment (not sure what it was) - then it turned out that Kristine's other customer had a lot more hair than bargained for which was being cut and so I was kept waiting with wet hair at the basin for what seemed ages - I think about 20 mins.. I asked for a hot drink as I was getting chilled and decided to sit up rather than stay lying back in the chair. I just wish that they had been a bit more conscious about making me more comfortable and hadn't left me there uninformed so communication needs to be improved. I wanted my hair to be a bit funky for a party that evening which unfortunately didn't work as my baby fine straight hair just fell down. We tried curling tongs but I was underwhelmed with the result. As soon as I left in the wind the whole thing got totally messed up anyway. I ended up washing it again at home with my own hair volumising products which put some body into the hair and so managed to rescue it for the party. I am a bit disappointed. I liked the colour, not yet sure about the cut which may settle in and had to rework the hair once I got home. It could have been a great experience as I saw some very happy people with lovely hair leaving the salon. Working baby fine hair successfully is quite an art so I hope my comments are taken constructively and provide an opportunity for learning.
Really great salon, hairdresser listened to exactly what I wanted and got it spot on. She continually checked throughout the cut if it was what I wanted. Great blow dry and finishing. Really good value with the Treatwell discount, will be returning.
