I only chose this salon as the offer was too good to pass up (only wanted a trim and begrudge paying for a full price top-end haircut) but am really glad as service was great, the stylist was professional and listened to what I wanted, and salon was cosy but clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend this salon to others. Overall a great experience and will return.

I had my hair done by Matt this week - he was lovely, chatty and listened to what I was after. The salon was very nice, clean and easy to find, and the staff were all really friendly. Although I hadn't been here before, Matt really nailed the colour that I previously had and I'm really happy with the result. An excellent deal. I will definitely be back!

I could not have been more dissatisfied with my treatment here. The actual cut was fine - at a push. There were too many people booked in for the evening and I had a call at lunch time to try and move my appointment. I refused as I was going to a wedding the next day and wanted my hair to look nice. I was squeezed between two other ladies on the tiny waiting bench and then rushed to the chair while someone else replaced me on the bench. I was told I would have to pay a compulsory £15 surcharge because my hair was longer than my shoulders. Seeing as the haircut was £20 this seemed a pretty steep 'surcharge' but I essentially had no choice, it should be explicitly advertised that this is how much the surcharge would be. The hairwash and treatment was nice. The haircut however was extremely rushed and I wasn't spoken to throughout the whole thing - subsequently my hair was blowdried poker straight and flat to my head, it looked awful. I asked whether it could have some more volume dried into it because it essentially looked worse than when I came in and the stylist was extremely rude acting as if I was a complete inconvenience for even being there. This infuriated me because I ended up paying £35 for being made to feel very uncomfortable and embarrassed. I left the salon after paying, went home and washed and blowdried my hair myself after the whole ordeal.

'TSec Highlights & Cut' deal: pleasantly surprised with the colour result even if it was not what I was originally after (with my dark hair I generally pref to stay away from reds and go more caramel blonde) - paid £15 squid extra but was worth it. Cut was the all over trim I was after, having gotten tired of the layers I wanted a 'long bob' and its exactly what I got!
The only small gripes: because of the sheer number of customers present (presume they also purchased the 'deal') I noticed a few anxious looking customers prompting staff to check if it was 'time' to rinse colour out...incl myself..also salons a little on small side - although the staff did a good job of juggling everybody (very professionally moving existing customers to make space for new arrivals from washbasin-reception area-hairdressing chair... like musical hair-chairs !!!lol)
