A bit of a disappointment. They don't tell you what the "treatment" is that they put on your hair. I can only assume it's this elasticizer I see advertised around the salon. But it would be good if they could tell you what it is. Especially as it gets drippy and starts running down your face. Unfortunatley, I don't feel it has made any sort of difference with my hair... not any softer or more manageable after the fact. I'm pleased with the haircut but I felt like I was getting a bit of the "rush" treatment at the end when they started having 2 girls work on the blow dry and were pulling my head every which way and it wasn't very relaxing and they kept getting in each others way with the brushes. To add insult, the blowout only lasted a few hours before it fell completely flat and any curl they had put in was gone. Again, not sure if it's because they were rushing because I saw another girl getting her hair blown out with curls and they were pinning them after they set them in place with the blowdry and they didn't do that with me. There was also no mention of, and therefore no offer of, they complimentary cupcake they mention on their website... or smoothie or non-alcoholic cocktail.

I went to Blo Bar for a pedicure on a busy Saturday morning. The staff were very attentive and I don't have to wait long for my treatment. My feet are now lovely and smooth and there was a wide selection of colours to choose from. I would definitely rebook for future treatments!

The venue and staff were nice. However, I don't know how this happened but it really hurt - not sure if the wax wasn't hot enough, but it wasn't coming off and several (sweat-provoking and painful) attempts were necessary to make it happen. I hadn't waxed in a while (so maybe my hair was also strong) but I had trimmed, and in 7 years of hollywood waxing this has never happened before. My skin was sore afterwards and even if I don't want to blame the staff/venue, I will not go back.

This was my second pedicure at BloBar and it was, again, absolutely wonderful. The clinician is very capable and the whole experience was very relaxing. Sandals here I come!

Good looking venue. I had a lovely manicure. I forgot to ask the name of the lady that did my nails but she did a great job on my nails. In other places I often feel rushed about, but here she took all the time to get my nails done. She made a little mistake, starting off with the wrong polish, but this was properly corrected.
As an improvement point I would suggest to change the music. It is very loud and not at all relaxing.
