When I first arrived at Blo for my 9.30am appointment for two treatments, I was told by the receptionist that my appointment had not been confirmed, despite me paying for it in full online and receiving an email from Treatwell to say that it was confirmed. They said they were fully booked that day, even though they had every appointment time showing as available on the Treatwell app! As I had planned my other meetings around this and travelled to Chiswick just for this appointment, it was super irritating to be turned away . Apparently this is a common recurrence with Treatwell, where their team and the salon do not communicate consistently enough so appointments get confirmed in error.
When I came back to the salon at 5.30pm, I was seen by two lovely therapists who did the manicure and pedicure simultaneously. I was initially pleased with the results, but the manicure chipped after two days, despite being Shellac, which has never happened to me before. The salon is nice and the staff friendly, however I am in two minds about returning, especially with the potential to be turned away again due to a breakdown in communication!
