My appointment was confirmed by Treatwell, but when I arrived at the venue, staff told me nothing was confirmed from their side. To be fair to the lady at the desk (thank you again) she moved a few things around and was able to accommodate me about 90 minutes later. I felt however as if I was frowned upon for booking through Treatwell instead of directly with them.
The lady carrying out my manicure and pedicure did not say a lot, which was efficient, but also unsettling, as she kept on looking at her watch. I loved the pedicure - colour is still good after almost two weeks and the smells from the scrub and lotion were amazing!
The colour from my manicure was gone after less than one week, which was a bit disappointing.
What put me off was that after the manicure, the therapist left me in the room for a good 20 minutes to let my nails dry - without music in the background or any other form of entertainment. Very long 20 minutes!
I would probably go back for a pedicure, but I would need to book directly with the bar to avoid awkwardness.
