I had a shellac manicure, which was good quality but not a great experience. Firstly, I arrived and my appointment was registered as being 15 minutes before I had requested. This may have been because of Treatwell, but I was made to feel like I had wasted their time by being 15 minutes late, when I actually arrived on time. The lady who did my manicure was quite rushed and the nail filing and cuticle work was painful. She never asked if it was OK for me. The painting itself was good, but afterwards I noticed that the paint on my thumbs was lumpy.

Had an ok experience at Blo bar. The lady who did my hair was friendly and attentive. I did have to wait a little while to be seen to and no one offered to take my coat. The hairstyle was nice but I wanted more volume and hold which I didn’t really get as hair fell flat later in the day which was a shame as it was my wedding day! I do have thin hair so understand limitations but was a bit let down by this. Also I phoned the day before and was told they would wash my hair. When I got there the hairdresser said I should’ve washed my hair the night before - mixed messages!

Great staff and pedicure. I am really pleased with the results and will return. It is one of the more expensive gel pedis in the area, especially if you need a removal too. The treatment room is in the basement so the ambiance isn't as good as elsewhere, but you get a good treatment!
