Note: This review actually refers to the Classic Manicure, rather than the Gel Manicure, since I ended up changing my mind on the day.
Absolutely fantastic experience! <3 This was my first manicure ever and to be honest I wasn't really looking forward to it! I had an important job interview the next day and I just wanted to get my nails looking more presentable!
I initially booked the Gel Manicure because I thought maybe I needed something more long-lasting and resistant. However, after a little chat with the lovely therapist Jenna, I realised that the Classic Manicure would do the job just fine. :)
After soaking my hands, my nails were neatly trimmed, filed and the cuticles were pushed back. I felt no pain or discomfort whatsoever. Jenna was really precise and gentle.
She also suggested suitable colours based on my skin tone and the fact that I wanted something appropriate for a job interview.
Absolutely love the colour!
Jenna was very professional and patient and such a sweetheart too! I found the whole experience really relaxing and enjoyed talking to her while she worked. She's a great listener and a very interesting, warm and engaging person.
As a salon- phobe, I was pleasantly surprised because the whole experience just felt like chilling with a friend and then walking out pretty nails :)
Will definitely return and I'm looking forward to trying out the pedicure too :)
