My first visit to Black Eye Hair & I was very impressed. My consultation with Raf was very thorough as he checked the history of my hair which was in poor condition through my own abuse! I had highlights & he was very careful to check that no damage was occurring throughout the process. Raf also gave me lots of tips & what to buy (& the cheapest place to buy it!) to improve the condition of my hair. Very pleased with the results, thank you & I will be back :)

I have been looking for a new hairdresser for months following a move south from yorkshire. No more searching is needed as I have now found Darren. I love this salon. As soon as I walked in I was welcomed by name and so it has that personal touch. Great cut and colour, great finish. Just a shame about the damn wind and rain that ruined it! But a great salon and also the non wahada prices are reasonable compared to the rest of Brighton. I am going back in May for my next cut and colour and believe me.... After months of not good hair cuts and colouring... This makes me very happy!!
Best hairdressing experience I've ever had. The venue is perfect, hust iff St James' street in central Brighton, and the interior is really stylish bit still relaxed. Raf's instinct for what makes a good cut is spot on and his attention to detail is infinite . My hair is always getting comments, even from strangers, and for the price the quality and creativity is outstanding.
Black Eye Hair has a wonderfully calm and unintimidating atmosphere. I was seriously in need of some glamming up for the festive season and Black Eye Hair did not disappoint. I received a personalised consultation taking into account the condition of my hair and the change in style that I was after. Raf carefully chose the perfect colour for my 'ombre' style which graduates perfectly from my own natural brunette colour down to a cool blonde, not a 'brassy' tone which has happened with previous colourists. I would highly recommend Black Eye Hair for anyone who is looking for high quality and unpretentious hairdressing in Brighton.
