ok so there is nothing luxurious about the salon. on a hot day the glass windows make it is a bit like a conservatory, with only a small fan for relief. you probably won't be treated like royalty and may well get bumped down the priority list if someone comes in wanting a quick bit of threading work. however, sunya is a really lovely woman and does do a really wonderful pedicure. my last one stayed looking gorgeous for many weeks. excellent value for money. i will definitely be going regularly for pedicures and waxing. they also have a great rewards system for regular customers.
This was one of the best pedicures I have ever had and I have had a lot. Amazing attention to detail and my feet looked magnificent at the end. I can't stop showing them off. I will definitely be back - such good value for money and sunya was a really wonderful therapist.
I arrived at my appointment time but the welcome was a bit frosty. I have never had a pedicure before so was unaware of the procedure which I think annoyed her. My feet felt much better afterwards although I have a cut under my heel which is now quite painful which must have happened when she nicked it with the blade she was using. Overall I am satisfied but not sure I would use this Salon again.
First of all, I was surprised to find there was only one staff member there (as far as I could see), this wouldn't have been a problem if the staff member hadn't made me feel very unwelcome the entire time I was there. I'd never had a facial before so I was unsure what to do with myself, but I felt uncomfortable asking because of the surly nature of the staff member, and the dead silence of the treatment room. I didn't feel relaxed at all during my visit, and I felt quite cheated having paid £15 for this service, because I am a student and can't afford to treat myself often.
