Place was clean, beautician was lovely. HOWEVER, i paid for a hot wax, and strip wax was used for the majority of the wax. the strip wax has ripped an area of my skin off right on my knicker line, and i am now wearing a plaster as it is so sore and painful. This is reason why i pay for hot wax...
Charged 27 rather than 24 - i was so embarrassed, sticky and in pain from the strip wax i just wanted to leave and so didn't challenge the cost.
Worst waxing experience I've ever had, I'm not sure what the lady used but it was excruciatingly painful (I've had many Hollywood waxes in the past and never found them to be uncomfortable at all). The end result was very patchy and I was really unhappy.
Great little salon on Clapham High Street. Do not be put off by the fact it is at the back of a shop as it getting its own entrance soon and doubling as a tanning shop. My beautician was friendly, professional and did a great job. I would recommend going and for the price it is one of the cheapest on CHS.
This place was terrible! Don't go here. It's a boarded up shop front and I had to go through a building work from another shop to get to it. I then had to wait for almost an hour for my appointment for a pedicure and was finally seen only to be given a bucket to soak my feet in. The pedicure itself was of bad standard, just a terrible waste of my time and money. Go somewhere else!!
