I went for the ipl patch test consultant session (which they charge £5 for) and I have to be honest - it's not what I expected. I thought that I would be able to get all details I want - not in the rushed basic manner I was receiving it :/ also the patch test is only a bit of gel on the face and a low frequency shot on your face. Only took a few seconds. I didnt understand what the point of that was?? Especially as they use high frequency for the actual treatment. The appointment states 20 minutes on the site So I thought that Id get a proper sit down consultant but it was literally only 5 minutes long with very basic information given. I was disappointed to an extent.

I definitely would not recommend going back! I had booked a treatment for my friend and myself, only to get a call back a several days later to inform me that they will not be open on the specified day and I will need to choose different date. Once I had discussed it with my friend and decided on a date, the receptionist booked us in and called back again that day informing us that they will not be open on this day either. We were gutted but completely cancelled the booking as we were not available on any other day; however later on that same day, I had yet another call from them offering us the original appointment!! We were delighted! On the day, we waited for a while for someone to even welcome us, once they noticed we were there, we checked ourselves in. There was a problem with the heating so we waited in the cold for around 30 minutes while we waited for the masseuse to finish with the client before us. Eventually, (after a really long time) one of the workers approached us to inform us that we have been double booked and someone had 'cancelled' our booking in their appointment book and insisted we see that it has been crossed off and they are not lying. What we couldn't understand was that if it had been cancelled this whole time, why did someone call me to tell me we can have our treatments then and moreover, why did they keep us waiting for so long in the cold when they could have turned us away from the very beginning?! We were absolutely appalled with the situation, we were offered no apologies and they tried to insist it was our fault; we then asked for an alternative option and the lady barely looked at the diary and said nothing is available at all!! I most definitely would not recommend Bella Nora Laser & Beauty Clinic! Terrible customer service!
I booked a massage. It was a really disappointing experience. It was the first time I had a massage done with plastic gloves!! The masseuse also tried to sell me a new hair removal technique during the massage itself, which I found inapropriate. The room was not clean there was a rest of wax in a bowl, a full bin and some tissues on the floor.

I actually visited the salon a few months ago, and was very pleasantly surprised! It is a no-frills type of environment but this is more than made up for by the staff and the service. Expect your coffee to be hand made, no snazzy champers - but what do you value the most about your hairdressers? The staff made me feel so at home and I can honestly say is is the best haircut I have had in 10 years. I have very thick hair and often find that hairdressers leave 'steps' in the layers - the hairdresser took her time and I left with the perfect cut. My hair was quite dry and damaged, and even though I specified that she take off as little as possible she managed to rid me off all of the damage without losing any of the length, Perfect!
