I had a very good experience with Bebe . Both the receptionist and the stylist Edy were friendly and welcoming. Edy had great suggestions about how I should do my hair. I would definitely recommend this place to others.
I have been to Bebe four times before this visit and each time loved the cut and colour, and the whole experience. This was when Robbie was the hair dresser. Since then the salon has been taken over by new people, although I did not know this when I booked.
Rather than blonde, my hair is now an awful shade of orange. Well, it’s blonde and orange – very uneven. I complained after seeing the colour once it was washed, and the hairdresser spent an additional 30 minutes putting in a toner to try and sort it out, but this just made it worse. While this was going on, the two other hairdressers had a lengthy discussion about pay, with no regard for me as a client. I found this really unprofessional and unnecessary – surely something to discuss out of ear shot of clients. And because he was now 30 minutes behind schedule and his next client was waiting, he really rushed through my cut, which is ok, but a bit wonky.
I will absolutely never go here again and I’m absolutely gutted that I spent £73 on a really terrible cut and colour, which I will now have to spend more money on getting it sorted out somewhere else.
I would advise that people don’t take into account the previous reviews, as these were for Robbie and the excellent service he provided – not these new people.
