With mixed feelings I leave this review.
I had booked my hair appointment at 12pm on a Saturday but got a phone call within an hour of my appointment from the receptionist saying she didn’t know whether the stylist was coming in or not so she cancelled all his morning appointments. I rearranged for Thursday which was really inconvenient as I had gone out of my way on Saturday to be in the area only to have my appointment cancelled and then had to go back again on Thursday after work. When I arrived on Thursday, the stylist said he was running 10 minutes behind schedule. However we actually started on my haircut 30 minutes late which is pretty unacceptable.
He said the previous client was 30 minutes late, but it’s not really a good enough reason. I had booked in for a cut and blow dry but I didn’t have time to finish 30 minutes later than planned. So I only ended up having the haircut and not the blow dry. The stylist said I could come back another day for the blow dry, but I will not be returning here again. The stylist was very friendly and apologetic but the experience wasted a lot of my time and made a simple haircut a big effort due to the last minute cancellation and then extreme lateness so I could not even finish what I paid for. Neither the receptionist nor the stylist offered any sort of refund either of the two errors on their part, which was a failure of their organisation which I find disappointing and unprofessional.
