Booked a Signature Pamper Day to start our hotel stay. Unfortunately the greeting at the spa wasn't very welcoming by the therapist at the desk, who did not smile at all and made us feel very awkward. Traffic had delayed our arrival although we were well in time for our treatments, however thankfully, this was not the case for the rest of the staff or the day itself. Spa treatments were excellent, very relaxing and the therapist very professional. Plenty of space on the beds around the pool which was a nice size, good steam room and sauna but changing area could definitely do with a refurbishment. Lunch choice was excellent, had this sitting on the lawn at the front of the beautiful hotel. A very relaxing day, would book again.

The location is beautiful and the spa is nice, food was included in our package and was really nice but it took far too long to come (waiting for nearly an hour even though it was was pre-ordered) and the air con was too cold in the room we were eating in.
Two members of staff were arguing I'm front of me whilst I was trying to relax and the mood of some members of staff were not very welcoming or professional. They tried to charge me an extra £10 per person when we were leaving even though I had already paid in full before arriving.

We had a fantastic stay at Billesely Manor hotel from the moment we checked in. The staff were very attentive, happy and friendly. The evening food was delicious and our room was beautiful. It was exactly what we were looking for in a relaxing and fun spa weekend away. We wish we could have extended our stay!! Special thanks to Ellie and a couple of others who's names have slipped our memory.

I booked a Morning Booster session for myself and my sister and was left very disappointed. What the venue fails to tell you is that this session also runs alongside their 2 hour kids fun splash session. We were told to access the facilities for 9am with treatments at 11am which is the exact same time as the children's session.

There are no quiet rooms at all, with the only place to relax being the pool. Hardly relaxing with a room full of children screaming and bombing into the water. My sister and I ended up waiting in reception to get away from the noise.

The changing rooms are grotty with one tap broken and constantly running.

The treatment itself was ok but hampered by the noise of screaming children running up and down the corridor and slamming doors. My sisters treatment however only lasted 20 minutes due to the lady before her taking so long to choose a nail colour and the therapist needing to catch up!

We were not given any instructions upon arrival, however we were first told that we had not booked, and when he found he booking, told us that we had not paid (unfortunately we had prepaid paid for this dismal package). I had to ask the person on reception on three occasions for robes, instructions on where to go for treatments and what was happening with lunch.

After complaining to the person on reception,he told me to wait for his manager at 12pm. After waiting, she said she couldn't help me and her manager will need to call. I did have a missed call but I have called back twice since then and no response.

We were so frustrated after this we even decided not to bother with the lunch and just left.

I have nothing against children, however a spa session is my time to get away from my own and have some me time and I feel this should be communicated to people booking in for a package. Never again.

Nice, relaxing day out. The food was good quality for most of the party, however the vegetarian "superfood salad" consisted of only lettuce, tomato, a small amount of avocado and a few sunflower seeds with no dressing- it was more of a side salad.

Very relaxing in a quiet and friendly setting. Its a shame that there is no relaxation room for after a treatment. Lovely lunch in the hotel restaurant.

The spa venue was absolutely stunning, it was so nice to have our (very delicious!) lunch in the grounds of such a lovely building. Every staff member we met was polite, friendly and helpful, and the lady who delivered our treatments was excellent - thank you! The day was value for money, and we will definitely be looking to rebook at Billesley Manor in the very near future. The only thing that we could possible pick fault with was the number of children using the pool and facilities. This is of course no real problem, however it did take away from the tranquil atmosphere just a little.

I totally agree. I didn't expect to have a relaxing massage with screaming children running in the corridor and noisy people. Perhaps a sign could be displayed or a friendly reminder to people when they book in at reception? (Avoid Wednesday afternoons)! Sandwiches in the bar were delicious and the gardens are beautiful.

My therapist, Janet, was great. I was so relaxed that I fell asleep during the treatments. The facilities were clean and the staff were courteous and helpful. The steam room and sauna could have been a little bigger but it didn't make too much of a difference as it was relatively quiet when we were there. Had a very enjoyable time there and would go again.

Absolutely beautiful venue set on gorgeous grounds. Made to feel very relaxed and welcomed from the start. The spa facilities were great and the treatment itself- the full body massage, was thoroughly enjoyable, my partner said it was the best he has had! Water and coffee making facilities available in the spa area as well as magazines and newspapers. Spa changing rooms could be a little cleaner and also warmer, after getting out of the pool / sauna / steam room they seemed very chilly! Staff were all very accommadating throughout. 3 course meal was delicious and prices for drinks were also reasonable. Room was nice, very old fashioned which we quite enjoyed but may not be to some peoples taste. In general a very lovely place where we would definitely visit again.

We booked via wahanda for an overnight spa break which included a 60 minute treatment. We regularly do spa breaks (at least 5 times a year) at different locations and were excited for this one as I've heard good things.

There was no contact from the spa regarding treatments and it took a while to get through to speak to somebody. The contact details on your wahanda booking are incorrect and it to There were few treatment times available and it took a while to work out the right details. We were initially offered 30 minutes on the saturday at 12.00 and 30 minutes late on the sunday - this is not a spa day. Eventually we found 2 30 minute slots (12 and 17.30) - not ideal but on the same day at least! Worth noting that I had to keep ringing to chase these rather than being chased by their team. Unfortunately we didn't realise that the treatments start 5 minutes late and end 5 minutes early - so rather than loosing 10 minutes we lost 20 minutes of treatment time!

The spa in itself isn't a spa and is far from a relaxing retreat! Not only do all hotel guest use the facilities - so do a lot of locals. There were 7 kids jumping and splashing when we arived and when we left. There is a pool, sauna and steam room -less than I get at my local gym. Its also really bright. Definitely the worst spa I've been to for ambience. Also there are no post-treatment relaxation rooms so you go from a massage back to the noisy and chaotic pool. We went to our room in between treatments for some peace and quiet!!

The best thing about the spa was that they have up-to-date magazines ... this was handy. The lunch food was beautiful - evening meal sold itself as upmarket but I wouldn't agree, quality wasn't great and service was slow.

We upgraded our rooo and it looked nice. However our duvet was 2 single duvets zipped together and our bed was 2 single put together - so they kept coming apart. There is no plug socket near a mirror so ibhad to dry my hair looking at a wall. The lights are very dark in the room so I had to guess at putting my makeup on. The TV is really low so you cant see it if lay in bed - needed to sit up to watch. Also my room was next to a firedoor which banged all day and night.

My experience at this location has taught me a valuable lesson. Its more worthwhile to spend the day at a beautiful purpose-built spa that has full focus on relaxation and stay at an equally purposeful hotel separately.

If I was staying at the hotel for another purpose I would access the spa for convenience - otherwise I would not return unfortunately.

Excellent hotel, food, staff and grounds. Facilities were good and the facial was great. Hotel had no record of reservation on arrival but issue was resolved quickly and an upgrade provided as an apology. Staff in particular were very professional and friendly.

Therapist was lovely and the treatments were great but let down by the changing rooms. They really need updating and were quite dirty (at 10am) They were cleaned while we were there but tiles need replacing/re grouting etc so it's never going to look clean until that's done.

The venue was beautiful and my friend and I had a luxurious day. Sad there was no jacuzzi but we knew that before we went! Will definitely be repeating the experience!

Lovely spa, lovely and very accommodating staff and therapists. Peaceful and relaxing atmosphere with beautiful surroundings. I had the Luxury Package day, as a birthday treat. The lunch was included but what I received was a £10.00 voucher so if you would like something more please be prepared to pay something towards the lunch. Food and service was brilliant though. Also there were free hot drinks and chilled water was available at the spa too. Left feeling very pampered and relaxed indeed.
