This is a tiny salon on the first floor of an anonymous looking building tucked away in a courtyard in the city. I'd struggle to call it a salon, being honest. It's a waiting room with a couple of nail bars and a couple of private rooms coming off it. I arrived on time, however, my beautician was running late. She did let me know this as I arrived and I waited patiently. I was eventually seen after about 20 minutes and it was clear that she was seeking to make up time as she waxed my legs as quick as she could. I think a 40 minute appt came down to about 25. I felt hurried and not at all valued. When she left me alone in the room to dress afterwards, the waiting room was so full, people were peering in...have to say I felt very exposed.
When I got home, I noticed there was quite a lot of bits of wax left on my legs. No hair, thankfully. After a shower, it all came off.
The beautician herself was a lovely lady - very smiley and chatty - the 3 stars are hers, not the salon's. I fully get that she was doing what she could and that things weren't her fault. But my lasting memory of the place is as a pile-em-high, sell-em-cheap, wheel-em-in, wheel-em-out kind of place. Not at all relaxing, just very functional.
On the plus side, booking via Treatwell was seamless.
Fiest time tried this place. Friendly people. They ran out some gel polish colours so I had to choose smt else. It was a common red colour so I would expect them to store in the shop in advance.
Never done a Pedicure in my life nor did I know what it was Exactly!
My wife booked me in for a pedicure as a surprise treat!
I was really impressed with the quality of service received, very friendly staff and clean environment.
The beautician ( Shelly) made me feel very comfortable and did the pedicure to a high standard.
Will defiantly becoming back!
It's compact, but clean and handy. The staff are outstanding! Told me about other offers and services (which weirdly is rare in salons I find..) And I got a lollypop!
