The massage itself was good, can’t fault a £20 foot massage.
I found it hard to relax as you can hear EVERYTHING that’s going on in the cafe out front. They’d benefit from some music in the treatment room perhaps?
The "salon" is located in a lovely cafe which has a bohemian vibe but it makes for an odd combination, and I looked for it for a while before realising that, yes, it's there! Treatments take place in an exiguous room at the back, it doesn't feel very professional from the get go. I came for a Brazilian wax. The beautician clearly had very little experience, and the waxing was painful. She kept going over the same areas over and over again, and still managed to leave hairs. It wasn't meticulous, or clean at all, and she left wax all over which I had to clean when I got home. I wouldn't recommend it. It felt like some hipster place trying to be "conceptual", but waxing and beauty treatments should be taken seriously.
Cute cafe with a treatment room in the back, fist time customer. Came for a Brazilian wax and felt like the beautician didn’t have much experience using hot wax. Was more painful than usual as she kept going over the same area numerous times, was left with a wonky wax that looked half finished, all for trying new places but afraid to say I will have to go somewhere else next time.
