The only sour note was at the beginning of the experience when the receptionist failed to acknowledge us. Normally this isn't an issue but as it's not at all clear whether you should head straight down the stairs to the doors with no names on them or amble through the hairdressing area and find a seat to wait on.
It wasn't entirely the receptionist's fault as she was dealing with an extremely scatty and slightly neurotic woman but a nod or a 'one moment please' isn't that much to ask.
Downstairs is utterly gorgeous and it was wonderful that we had it to ourselves.
The treatments were lovely and relaxing too, and the staff very chatty and friendly.

Always a nice experience at this salon, very happy with their manicure and pedicure. The staff are really friendly and and the environment is relaxing and enjoyable to sit in. I never have to wait long but it's also very easy to make a cup of tea and read a magazine while waiting too.
