Obviously painful! However I didn't enjoy being lectured about how I shouldn't shave and having to explain myself as to why I do!!

It really depends on what nails technician you get. One time I had a very good experience, but not so much on my second visit. The lady kept telling me how weak my nails were, which became just rude in the end.
