My beautician (Yana) was really quick and thorough. The wax was relatively painfree and she was obviously very experienced.

Not a good salon for waxing. The therapist was not very thorough and I found some stray hairs when I got home so not worth the money. Will try a different place next time.

I've been coming to Muse for over a year and have always been happy with the quality of my Shellac, however this time I wasn't that impressed to be honest. The therapist ( I had not seen her before) felt like she was rushing the service, and while I appreciate its a 'speedy' treatment, I declined the cuticle torture (as I always do) to allow for more time and a more relaxing experience, but it still felt rushed, especially the filing and buffing which felt almost aggressive at times. The colour application was good, and looked great when I left the salon, but within 42 hours my index finger nail had chipped and the rest followed suit soon after, peeling and flaking off at the edges. I now have one hand with no shellac on at all (as I had no choice but to peel it off as it looked so unsightly) and one hand with several nails peeling off at the top which I will just end up removing myself.
Another thing is that the lamps in the salon must be super strong because they burnt my fingertips, when I mentioned this to the therapist she looked at me as if I was a bit stupid and said 'Yeah that's normal', but no-one else has ever said that to me before when I have mentioned burning, they apologised and quickly obtained a different light machine for me.
Not sure if I will be back TBH after this experience, such a shame as the other therapists I have had have always been brilliant.
