It was very disorganised, the staff were flapping around as I think they had overbooked someone and someone had been waiting over 20 minutes for their appointment. I was a bit disappointed with my pedicure as the machine was on the floor and wasn't easily accessible and having a your feet done underneath the table wasn't comfortable either.
I was welcomed in and had a very short wait in the waiting area, which is really nice, with a variety of drinks and magazines available. My consultant took me downstairs to the room. This room was small and multi-purpose, with waxing materials etc. around but it was very tidy and very clean. I was made to feel at home immediately and my consultant made sure I was comfortable before we got started. She noticed I was wearing contacts and made sure to check whether I would like to take them out or if I was happy with them in. The actual application took the predicted 40-45 minutes and I was very relaxed throughout. They look and feel great! She gave me all of the after care advice and made sure I had a couple of minutes to really look at them in case I was unhappy with any. Overall this was a really great service, very reasonable and I am thrilled with the result. I will be coming back in two/three weeks time for more infills!
After the usual redness that comes with all waxing, I was left with 2nd degree burns , large open bare skin , the day I was leaving out the country for a special occasion on which a few days later turned to large scabs and now I have large linear marks directly under my eyebrows which I am eagerly trying to destroy the permanency of. I have been having my eyebrows waxed for over 10 years and never have experienced this. I appreciate a slight redness afterwards which is completely normal but this is far from normal. Not only is this embarrassing but also an absolute confidence breaker. I never leave reviews or want to say bad things to people/business' but this I can't ignore or forget about. As much as I am saddened to say it, i will have to be taking this further . It is unacceptable.
