I love my balayage colouring and felt the service was good. My only issue was that my hair was incredibly knotty after, the girl washing my hair attempted to brush it out but I was then sent to dry my own hair and my hair was still so tangled. The hairdresser commented that it’s because I have very fine hair which is true but knowing this maybe he shouldn’t have backcombed it so much. As I was brushing the knots out clumps of hair we’re coming out! I also have never been to a salon where they haven’t even rough dried your hair so I was surprised at this also.

It wasn’t the worst wax I’ve ever had, but it wasn’t brilliant and I won’t be returning. The treatment room was tiny, there was no space for me to put my clothes so I had to leave them in the sink. I have very weak hair follicles and so rarely have pain from a wax, unfortunately this treatment was an exception. When I told the beautician that the wax was too hot and it was burning me she said it was just because my skin was too sensitive and refused to turn the wax down. Having said this, if you can put up with the pain the results were pretty good and she removed all the hairs.

Hollywood wax done by Oana last week. She was quick and thorough (done in under 20 mins) and friendly service. Will booking again next time I’m in town (and hairy)! 😄
