Fantastic wax, no hairs left behind, no pain and Amy was so chatty and lovely, she really makes you feel comfortable. This is the cheapest but also the best wax I've ever had.

The end result of my gel manicure was okay but I did have to file the edges of my nails smooth when I got home. I enjoyed the complementary fizz!

I was really disappointed with my shellac manicure here today. The staff member who did my nails was very chatty and friendly but hasn’t done a good job. When she applied the colour it rippled on quite a few of my nails and had to be redone, adding an extra 15 minutes or so to my appointment. I had to return later in the day as the same thing happened again less than 5 minutes after I left the salon. Again, after the third attempt, one of the nails has rippled this evening. I’m no expert, but I’ve had gel manicures in a lot of places and this is the first that hasn’t cleaned the nail with acetone before applying the base coat. When I questioned why I was told it wasn’t necessary as “the brush takes all the dust off”. This visibly wasn’t the case. The poor application was blamed on the colour I had chosen. A colleague advised my beauty therapist to keep the colour very thin to avoid this happening again. She ignored her colleague and continued to apply thick layers of polish. The colleague redid my left hand to speed things up and the nails she did look great and have a visibly thinner coat of colour on them.
The salon was friendly and encouraged me to contact them again if I have any more problems but I think three attempts to apply nail polish is enough. I won’t be returning.
