Upon arriving it looked as though the salon had shut down - the name was different to the one listed in Treatwell, and a paper sign told you to phone a number to be let in.
The lady was welcoming and I had the wax first. It is the first time I have had had the chocolate Lycon wax, and was more painful than strip wax which is what I usually have. When I got home I realised she had missed a few smaller hairs, but the job was mostly done well.
The manicure was ok, though a bit painful when she scraped my cuticles down. Nails are still perfectly in tact 3 days later.
What this place is really lacking is ambiance, the decor is very basic and the whole place needs a face lift to give it a more luxurious feeling. I won't be going back!

I chose Beauty Aliss due to them offering appointments later in the evening... Very friendly and accommodating staff, the price was also very reasonable... I would definitely go again!

The lady who did my wax was lovely! It's such a shame about the venue as it doesn't look premium from the outside, but the cost reflects that, so don't be put off. £22 for such a good quality Lycon hot wax is really good, I'm definitely going to go back. Remember cash as no card machine, but free ATM down the road.
