Firstly, my lashes are long with no natural curl, so lash lifts usually work well on me. I arrived on time and the therapist took me to the treatment room, which was clean and tidy. We spoke about the types of bands and at the end I let her know that I'm not sure which band is best...to my surprise the technician raised her voice at me in frustration, but I'm not sure if this was a language barrier thing as she was nice enough through the rest of the treatment. I was too scared to say anything in case she took my eye out in the lash lift lol. During the treatment the therapist put something over my eyes (maybe it was an eye mask or a flannel), whatever it was it absolutely stank of bleach and eggs! The weird thing is that i could smell it on my hair the next day. The lash lift looked okay at the end of the treatment. At the end of lashlifts they usually apply some clear gel and take photographs with you looking upwards so the lashes look their best. I followed the therapist's advice and didnt wash my eyes for 24 hours, and when i got home i couldn't see any lift whatsoever. Furthermore i didnt wear mascara or eye makeup for 2 weeks afterwards and they do not look lifted at all, and even with mascara there is no lift! What a waste of time and money. Further to this the timing was an issue, i asked how long the treatment would take as i had an appointment after, and she said 45 mins but the total treatment time was 1 hr 20 mins! Since my eyes were glued shut i didn't check the time myself and i lost my deposit for the other appointment so am double out-of-pocket. Suffice to say i will not be going back snd would not recommend this place to others.
