Harriet is a friendly and very professional beauty therapist. I have been getting my HD brows done with her for over 6 months now and I would recommend her and the treatment to anyone! Becky xx
A nice, clean venue and the lady who did my nails was very good. She advised me on nail care and there was a nice wide choice of nail colours. I will visit again next time I need my nails doing.

I really thought that this deal was good value for money. I liked the venue and the staff were great.....very good A* I will be visiting again in the near future.
Ladies' Waxing
Just had another very relaxing afternoon at Beauty At The Salon. Based on my previous good experiences there I pushed the boat out to treat myself so I opted for a facial, pedi and HD brows treatment. Harriet, the beautician, was as professional, friendly and considerate as ever - she let me choose the background music from my iPod which was a nice touch (I am not fond of the whale music some salons subject you to!). I am keen on Yon Ka products as I think they are very high quality and make my skin feel lovely. Usually I can only find Yon Ka in London which is a long way to go for a facial so I was pleased (and surprised!) when I found these products at a local salon. The facial I chose was Le Grand Classic which lasts approximately 1hr. My skin looks clearer and calmer already and it was so relaxing i nearly fell asleep! The pedi was good; Harriet has a wide range of colours to choose from and she filed my nails to a nice, uniform shape. I was unsure about having an HD brows treatment as I was worried the end result would be too dark for me but Harriet got the shade spot on and my eyebrow shape is much more flattering to my face now.
Overall I would highly recommend this salon
I visited Beauty at the Salon after months without treatment, I was in a bad way! So had 4 treatments a facial, waxing an eyebrow shape and eyelash tint.
I was suffering from a terrible bout of spots around my jawline but the Yonka facial really helped and was very good value considering the amount of time my therapist spent. The products smelt great and didn't irritate my skin which is very prone to flaring up! I particularly enjoyed the, I don't know what to call it! but a sort of vapouriser used to put the essential oil mix on my skin. My therapist was very competent and seemed to take time to understand my skin type and explained each stage of the facial, she also didn't make too much conversation during the facial which I often find difficult in these situations!
For my leg waxing my therapist used Lycon wax, which is what i searched for when i and found this salon online in the first place. I had Lycon wax used on my legs once before but didn't really notice the difference until I went back to normal roller wax and noticed how many more ingrown hairs I got on the regrowth. I will always opt for this wax now if i can find it. Again thee therapist seemed to put a lot of attention into getting the best finish, getting the magnifying lamp thing out and tweezering any stray hairs on my legs at the end of the treatment.
My eyebrow shaping was very good- she used threading to get the best shape. I asked her not to take to much off my eyebrows (not too keen on the tadpole eyebrow look) and she listened and I was happy with the shape. With the eyelash colour she spent alot of time preparing the lashes and I didn't get the awful dye in the eye scenario and was very pleased with the final outcome.
I was honestly suprised to get such good service from a salon on the main drag outside Hove Station, but i really am pleased with the result and will make a return visit soon.
