It was my first colonic hydrotherapy and I am still traumatized by it. The beauty salon and the staff are lovely, but they don't have the appropriate equipment for that type of (delicate) operation. As they did not have a receptacle to collect the excrements during it (which is the goal of the colonic hydrotherapy), I was extremely uncomfortable, and I had to put a dressing gown on and rush to the toilets in front of the clients and personnel, absolutely ashamed, in order to release everything. I won't recommend it for a first experience.
Beautiful salon with a lovely atmosphere and great staff who made me feel right at home. A couple of other customers came in while I was there and it appeared that they were regulars which is always a good sign. There was a small issue with the pedicure I had booked – there are about three listed on the menu and the one I had picked wasn't actually a pedicure (just corn and callous removal) so that meant spending even more money to have the nail polish. The pedicure was okay, I would have liked more scrubbing/blade removal, but the polish has held up well. I was less impressed by the manicure and didn't feel that the cuticle removal was as good as it should have been, plus the polish began to chip within a week when it's supposed to last for around two weeks. I tried out this place as I am new to the neighbourhood and was in a pinch but the price is around £20 more expensive than other places for the same treatment and with the results I don't feel that this is good value for money.
Amazing service. Mila who I had my colonic hydrotherapy with, is lovely and put me at ease.
It was my first colonic and I was surprised by how painfree it was. Overall great service, I would definitely recommend village beauty for treatments.
