This was my 3rd visit here. I’ve been very pleased with the girls and the younger boys that I’ve had when visiting before. But last week an older man assisted me and he was quite rude and did not listen to me. When shaping my nails asked him to save the length and just fixe the edges, but he started to file them really short. I pulled my hand away twice and told him that’s not how I wanted it. He took out the scissors when he was going to fix my thumbnails and I then once again said no, I want them to stay long. Then mid way through he just stood up and left, and asked a girl to take over. He told her that he only had one finger left to do and went away. When I looked at my nails they were all very uneven and looked horrible, some being shorter than other. I asked the girl if she could please look over all the nails which she did and made them look nice. The girl was super sweet an apologised several times. They ended up a lot more shorter than I wanted though since he made it all wrong from the beginning.
Unfortunately the nail polish was applied uneven, missed spots in some places and very thick in others. It started to come off immediately and I therefore went to a different saloon a few days after.
Besides this, during my 3 visits I have noticed that they don’t sterilise or even wash the equipment used in between customers. Not how it should be done and very unhygienic. It’s quite cheap but very busy and they take on drop-in customers leaving people with appointments to wait because it’s full. Doesn’t feel very professional to me and it’s not a relaxing environment to be in. Won’t be coming back.
