The staff are really friendly and there is a good vibe in the place - it was nice to be offered coffee/ beer/ wine upon arrival and have my drink topped up throughout! In terms of the quality of the treatment, I have mixed feelings...I asked for my hair to be coloured lighter at the bottom and showed some pictures. I made it clear that I did not want it too subtle as I wanted a change. I was advised to get a balayage treatment. My hair looked nice at the end but it was nothing like the pictures I showed and it was extremely subtle, to the extent that nobody has even commented/ noticed any change at all to my hair. Therefore, whilst overall it was a nice experience and I would recommend the salon, I would not recommend for a balayage treatment unless you want to come out looking the same as when you went in!

I had a caramel balayage with Josie and I am very happy of the result, it's exactly what I wanted. I like that she showed me a picture beforehand. Staff all very friendly and the salon is very cute.

This was the nicest hairdressing experience I've had since moving to london 3 1/2 years ago. The space is really attractive and cosy, was offered a glass of wine on arrival and the woman who did my hair understood what I wanted and made some creative suggestions of her own. Was really lovely chatting to her too! Highly recommend this place :))

I've been getting my hair cut at Bar Hairdressing for 3 years now and I wouldn't change...the staff are super friendly (I've always had Brent as my stylist, who is fantastic), you get a glass of wine/beer, and I get so many compliments on my 'do. Highly recommend!
