A very odd, and largely unpleasant, experience for a massage. First of all it's in an office block, secondly it's in a tiny room that looks like someone's home office, and third it's absolutely boiling. There were files and general junk stored under the massage table, offering a view of this throughout. And then the strip lighting. It's hard to imagine a setting that's less suited to a massage.
The masseur commented on me being sweaty. Note: never tell a woman she is sweaty. In any aspect of life. He was also confused about how to fill a 90 minute massage. If so, why offer it as a service?
Then the massage itself. I have had deep tissue before but this felt like he was trying to pull out my spine. And then the face. Can you do a deep tissue on the face? His approach was to try to gouge out my eyeballs.
Absolutely awful.
I go quite often to Baliga Ayurveda but this has been the best massage in my life. I had pain in different parts and Raghav gave me a fantastic full body massage. Now I feel like brand new. Totally recommend it!
