My Mum booked this 3 treatment pamper package for me but on arrival, the therapist quickly offered me a full body massage instead of the 3 treatment package and I accepted thinking this would be much more enjoyable and relaxing.
However, the treatment wasn’t as expected and I was very disappointed.
The therapist didn’t do my arms, feet, hands or head ... which I understand is usually included in a full body massage. The therapist also left the room on a number of occasions and it didn’t feel very relaxing having her go in and out the door. It made me feel that the therapist wasn’t focused on my treatment but busy with other things.
My mum telephoned the salon shortly afterwards to ask why I didn’t receive the full body experience, but the therapist said it was due to my lack of muscle?
This is very disappointing as I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis and have some issues with mobility. If the therapist had felt she couldn’t perform a full body massage treatment to the best of her abilities because of my arthritis, then perhaps she should have advised alternative treatments for me that day?
This was supposed to be a lovely treat from my mum and it was a bit lack lustre!
