Came for a brow wax today, unfortunately it was not a great experience. Although my booking was at 12:30, when I arrived the receptionist told me the booking was for 12:45. Given I was on my lunch break it wasn't ideal to be held up, but never mind.
The waxing itself was quite slow and a lot more painful than waxes I've had before. It left my eyelids red raw and stinging. The stylist wasn't particularly friendly and a little patronising in telling me how I should look after my brows (I'm really not fussed about growing them into a particular shape, I just keep them natural and tidy).
I've been having my brows waxed for 7 years and this is among the worst wax experiences I have had.
I don't mind paying for the experience once and didn't kick up a fuss in the salon, but I wouldn't recommend and won't be coming back.
