I did not have a nice experience. I arrived on time and was told to wait. There was no atmosphere in the reception and not really anywhere to set, and staff seemed frantic and stressed. About ten minutes later I was taken to a room. Once I was changed the head rest broke off the bed and another member of staff had to come in and fix it with no warning. The massage room had bright lights and no music. The massage was uncomfortable and I have never felt so tense - even though I was flinching in pain I was never asked if I was okay. The lady also had sharp nails which have hurt my skin. I was made to feel very uncomfortable and didn’t enjoy my experience at all.
Deep Tissue Massage
I ordered a lymphatic message and after having confirmed this to the therapist (who is supposed to be a physiotherapist but unlikely she wasn’t), I was given a normal massage. I explained this to receptionist and they claimed that it was ‘chinese’ lymphatic massage. I’ve been given many of them and the therapist barely touched my lymph nodes so I can’t understand how this could be a lymphatic massage. I was offered £5 voucher for my next visit and was told that I should’ve stopped her mid massage to find another therapist. How utterly disappointing and costly!
Lymphatic Drainage
Good service however member of staff changed half-way through waxing procedure without explanation, introduction or anything! Not particularly professional. Have always had positive experiences here in the past so this was disappointing.
Men's Waxing
asked for a Thai massage and offered a deep tissue instead as the staff member that performs Thai massage was not available. accepted anyways and did not regret. slightly disappointed that was not what I asked and paid for but hey. rooms are very tiny and sometimes it's unavoidable to bump into things. not ideal for relaxation.
Thai Massage
Really good experience. The laser was done quickly and painlessly, and my veins have already starting fading with one day!
