I have been in this salon only one time before for a shellac removal which was impeccable. After the positive experience I decided to come back for a shellac removal and a quick manicure (file, buffer and polish) since my cuticles did not need any work.
The girl who did my nails first started with the removal of the shellac by cutting into 6 pieces the rounded pads people use for the eyes. Being very small, the pieces couldn't cover the full area of my nails and that is why she started scratching the residual resulting in nails being all over scratched. She then started to remove my cuticle and since there was nothing to be really done I now have an uneven surface. After one hand was done she pointed out that I paid for only a quick manicure so I said that she could keep going and I would have paid the difference. When I had to chose my polish she asked me what type of color I wanted without showing me the selection of colors. The polish then was nearly finished so she only did one cover with no base coat (after a shellac removal with all those scratches!!). The top coat was also very hard to work with and the whole experience was just awful. I would upload a picture of the nails since that would speak for itself. I regret to have said I was happy at the salon but the work was so poorly done that it seemed ridiculous that I could have been asked such a question.
First time I've ever had a wax and the lady who did it made me feel really comfortable. Definitely recommend sugaring even though it's a little more expensive!
Lovely environment, GREAT staff! Best Waxing experience I've had. Not to mention that the shellac last a month staying intact no chipping and nails not breaking. Would highly recommend!
