I'd been look for a "proper" Ayurvedic practitioner for some time in W/SW London and I'm really pleased to have found Dr. Alex. Having just recovered from pneumonia I felt utterly out of balance, I couldn't put my finger on it and decided on an Ayurvedic head-to-toe massage that would be tailored to my imbalanced constitution, even using different oils. It was amazing - I felt invigorated yet relaxed afterward - recommend leaving time for a shower (yes it's oily but plays an important role) and a nap after though! It's downstairs in the pharmacy but don't let that put you off. I have pretty high standards so for me to even leave a review is saying a lot!

I have had many massages but Alex is by far the best. I have now had two sessions with Alex. He understands the body's constitution by sight and touch and intuitively works to release tension with speed and precision. The many oils which are used are amazing, and they are used generously so be prepared. The venue is below a pharmacy which may put some off but the room itself is clean, comfortable and the lighting is adjusted to set the right tone. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
