Had my hair done for the first time since lockdown.
Really lovely little salon, decorated well, clean as well.
Staff were wearing visors, I bought my own mask in.
Unfortunately my cut and blow dry felt very rushed. I have very long hair, almost to my waist, and the whole process took about 30mins when I’m used to it taking an hour. I explained what I wanted done, and I don’t know if the stylist didn’t understand what I wanted or was distracted but my hair almost looked the same afterwards. She didn’t section my hair and work on the layers which is what most hairdressers do with my hair, the blow dry was very quick as well, she didn’t ask when my hair was dry wether I wanted anymore off the fringe which I thought was weird, as you can’t tell the length properly when it’s wet. I felt a bit awkward. So whilst the salon and stylist was nice, I didn’t feel relaxed, my hair isn’t really how I wanted either. It felt so rushed. I don’t think I will go back again, but that’s not to say other customers will have the same experience

They let me leave with my hair in patches of gray and yellow and orange... didn’t even show me the back of my hair so I had no idea it looked like that until after I left. So embarrassed, worst hairdresser experience of my life :(
