The staff are lovely an the store is clean. The stylists know what they are doing but when it comes to single braids with extensions .... they are not professional braiders. Had my hair done and when it was finished it looked good. As soon as I got home, the braids started unravelling and I spent 4 hours doing them and trying to tighten them up myself. Also I noticed that not all the braids were the same size and even my partner commented on getting them redone as they wouldn't last the first week. I'm not one to to be picky but when I have spent £85 for my hair to be done, I don't expect to go home and neaten it up myself. They also had a stylist help finish off the braids and it looked like a child's practice braid! I'm very surprised the senior stylist did not check my hair to ensure the size were consistent. I should have gone to my regular professional braiders - I go in sit down, tell them what I want and leave with what I want and I don't have to worry about it for 2 months. The amount of hair used also was so much I can't even tie the hair up. I had to razor cut a lot of it to make it lighter. I asked for pencil size braids - that means the sections of hair extensions used should be no more than the size of your pinky finger but the section of your actual hair larger so the amount of hair left out is not bulky.
If you are going in for any other hairstyle then great but stay away if you want professional braids. Stylist was more concerned about getting me out if the chair in 4 hour mark rather than the quality of service provided.
I am known for my single braids and have others asking where I get my hair done. Today I was asked when am I redoing my hair! Total waste of money.
I had a really nice time. Michelle is very professional and she knows what she is doing. The treatment was quicker than what I usually do but it worked the same. I recommend!!
