Just like most of the people, I read the review and visited Mukti (The beautician) for the first time. I booked for 1 Hr dermalogica facial treatment. For about 10 mins, I had consultation with Mukti on my skin and she given me some suggestions and also analysed my skin. She then selected the products she would be using for the facial. On doing the facial, she explained it to me every product - what is it for, and why do i need that - and applied it. After an hour, my face looked bit oily (or rather shiny!) and when I touched my skin - it was really soft. Its been two days and my skin is very glowing and almost all of my friends started asking me what i have done to my face (And, last two days I haven't put any make up on my face!).
My face looks very healthy, shining and soft - what else i can ask for! I am so glad I met Mukti, I would definitely go every month to do one session with her.
I had booked a Dermalogica facial and massage through a Wowcher deal and it was amazing. I had read the reviews prior to booking and thought I would give it a try as I had been looking for a facial therapist for a while. Just a short walk from the DLR station I entered the beauty room and received a warm welcome. Mukti sat down and asked me some questions about my skin and if I had any issues or focus areas, she was very thorough and professional.
As I had quite bad skin suffering from mild acne Mukti made sure if anything was too harsh or stinging my face to let her know and would let me know what she was doing and applying each step of the way and was very gentle on my face.
I was not pressured into buying any products or further treatments, Mukti would simply advise on other ways I can help to improve my skin which I found really helpful, and all of her clients can purchase the Dermalogica products at 15% discount so I did not pass up this opportunity!
I am very happy with the experience I had and was great value for money, I am booked in again and am more than happy to pay full price for the treatment as I have never come across a therapist as knowledgeable and sympathetic. Also it has been two days since I have had the facial and I have had no new breakouts!
Mukti is a very professional therapist and delivers a first class service. My first session was through a voucher scheme but I am now a regular client as the facials have improved my skin tone dramatically and Mukti tailors the experience to meet my needs. Her own skin tone is of highest quality which is essential when offering such treatments. The venue from outside looks a little disappointing but the therapy room is of a high standard and very clean. I highly recommend her services including facials (*particularly using machines) and massage. I have recommended Mukti to friends and family who agree that she is one of the best therapists they have every used.
Overall a very pleasant experience. My facial was amazing and the massage was very relaxing indeed. Very highly recommended and amazing value. Thank you! 😊
The best facial I ever had !! The lady was so lovely we started the session reviewing a questionnaire about my skin so she could choose the right Dermalogica products for my skin type then the 1 hour pure moment of bliss could start! She set the ambience with some calming music throughout the treatment and aromatherapy..brilliant !!
