I booked a microneedling consultation, having had this treatment before elsewhere. While the therapist was friendly, I didn’t feel the consultation was thorough. I wasn’t asked about stopping retinol or other actives beforehand. There was also repeated pressure to upgrade to a paid add-on, even after I said I’d consider it. Overall, if I hadn’t had this treatment before, I would have felt uneasy and unsure.
