Was looking forward to the manicure and pedicure at the athenaeum, as hotel is a 5 star property. treatment was fine possibly has higher expectations of the experience given it's a 5 star hotel.

Lovely afternoon with my mum having gelish on hands and feet with Rachel. She is lovely and did such a good job! Spa was busier than usual but all the staff went out of their way to make sure everyone was happy. I will definitely return, it's my new regular now. Why change something that works?

VIP Champagne day for 2 - great value, the food and treatments were great and I will definitely be back! The hotel is a lovely place to spend time in, the only draw back is that the spa does not have a pool, but that is made up for with the quality of the treatments and the facilities that are available.

Very disappointed by facilities as only 1 of the hot tubs was in operation which meant getting very cosy with a couple already using the hot tub . A bit embarrassing to say the least ! Also have an aversion to brown towels in a spa as prefer white which are always clean and fresh looking . No pool either , only a sauna and steam room and no place to lie and relax .
