I've been to Kobkun twice now and would definitely recommend it. The pressure was just right, she spent ages working out knots in my shoulders and I feel a lot less tense the next morning. Not for the faint-hearted though, if you've never had a thai massage before it's quite firm and they'll use elbows and forearms to get those knots out!
I got a Thai massage and found it to be spot on. The staff was nice and helpful. The venue could use a bit of a face lift but the massage area was comfortable.
I have been going to Kobkun Thai Therapy for years. I started going in 2011 when I moved from Kent, to London, and have never turned back! I absolutely adore the staff at Kobkun. They are some of the sweetest people I know. I try to go at least once a month to get a Thai Massage, though I go more often when work is stressful. There is just something about having a massage that makes all your worries go away. I'm always raving about Kobkun to my friends, and since they got tired of it, I thought I'd come on here a post a review!
I traveled to London last week to complete the last leg of my month long European backpacking trip, and stopped by Kobkun Thai Thearpy (sounds crazy I know, but It's always been a dream of mine!). I'd never had a massage before, but I thought it would make a perfect treat to mark the end of my trip. I looked up some different spa's online, but the Kobkun spa (Islington location) was the closest to where I was staying and offered massages around the price I was looking for. I booked an appointment right away, and was so excited. When I got to the spa I was really impressed. The place was very nice, and the massage therapist I had was super sweet. I only booked an hour for a Thai Massage, but it was totally worth it. It felt wonderful to get my tense muscles relaxed, and I was in heaven. Great first massage experience!
