The treatment I booked was a ‘choice of massage’ with 4 options; Swedish, deep tissue, Thai or aromatherapy
On booking there was no option to choose which one so I assumed I would be asked when I got there.
I wasn’t asked, so I asked the therapist what massage she would be doing but she couldn’t really articulate other than ‘some stretching’ .This sounded like Thai massage to me .. which I hate. I explained to her what I wanted and also where I had some painful areas, as well as a bulging disc in my back.
The first thing she did was sit on top of me and dig her elbows into my bulging disc, which was agony!
She proceeded to do a Thai massage.
Several occasions I told her I was in pain and she just laughed and said sorry but then continued.
There was supposed to be a dedicated foot massage but this didn’t really happen.
She kept stopping and asking me what I wanted her to do next. Not only did this make me feel like she didn’t know what she was doing, but it also wasn’t relaxing at all.
Whenever she found a knot, she proceeded to dig her elbow into it as hard as she could, rather than work it out slowly. It was so painful at one point I was almost in tears.
Eventually she said ‘there’s 5 minutes left what shall I do’ - like, usually a masseuse has a routine that lasts the full time! I told her not to worry and got off the bed. Half way through dressing I looked at the clock and I’d still only had 55 minutes of my 1hr 10min treatment.
£60 is an absolute joke.
If I knew it was straight Thai massage, I never would have booked.
Totally false advertising.

I don't know what was that..... I had a Swedish massage with a lady who I don't even know if she is a qualified therapist, she was wearing casual clothes, talking all way through the treatment andthe massage wasn't relaxing at all, feels like was in a fast forward mode with repeatable non sense movements and oil application :| very disappointed for the price I paid.

Wonderful – feel like a new woman! After the pandemic, I was holding so much tension, especially in my shoulders. All this has all gone. I feel great.
