I'd never been for a massage before of any kind so Thai massage was probably jumping into the deep end. I didn't know what to expect but went for the aromatherapy massage. Overall I felt very relaxed by the end, the girl was so nice & everyone was very welcoming. I had a lot of tension taken from my upper back but this was at a cost of discomfort. In pain today but would go again, something has obviously worked. Thai massage is vigorous though & not for faint hearted. Slept well afterwards too.
I went for an hour massage with Sherie and it was fantastic, really intuitive and knowledgeable therapists that can really 'fix' your knots! Will definitely be going again and I highly recommend this place. Wonderful little gem in Chorlton.
Lovely lovely staff and a fantastic massage. It felt very in tune to my body as aposed to a 'scripted' massage. Came out feeling refreshed and relaxed. Hope to return soon ! Oh and the Thai tea and post treatment chit chat was the cherry on the top. Thanks so much :)
I had an absolutely amazing massage from Noi (hope I got her name right). It was a deep tissue one, and reached the painful but hard to get spots in my neck and shoulders. A relaxing cup of herbal tea was also appreciated!
My second massage at Arokaya. This time I went for the Thai yoga massage with essential oils. Cherie, the masseuse, was very friendly and knowledgable and I felt great afterwards. Staff have all been friendly and it has a nice, relaxing ambience and it is clean.
I'd recommend going directly to the venue as they charge less, and they have £5 off if you go in the morning.
