My hair is curly, and I went to get a blow-dry and haircut. I booked an appointment almost a month in advance for 5 pm because I had to be at my birthday party at 7:30 pm. One of the hairdressers washed my hair and asked me to wait for the other to cut and style it. In the end, I waited for two hours, and when she came to dry my hair, it was already dry, so the result was awful. My experience was very bad.
Silk press results was flat as ever (just how I want it)! I can no longer use relaxer in my hair due to a scalp condition but this silk press honestly looks as thought I’ve relaxed it! 10/10 results.
After many delayed appointments and two extremely poor experiences, I can’t recommend Ariel. I asked for a 613 blonde wig toned ashier; they instead badly dyed it with dark brown streaks, saying it “suited it.” I also requested my already highlighted hair fully dyed blonde and cornrowed; they gave me patchy highlights an inch from the root, saying I “should wear it curly.” When I complained, the owner excused it by saying the stylist “didn’t know what cornrows are” - in an afro salon!
